Eric L. Adams
Founder/Chief Instructor
Eric is a graduate of Northwestern R-1 in Mendon, MO, and also graduated from the Brookfield Area Career Center in the summer of 1999. He followed his career path by attending Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, MO where he received his welding certificates in December 1999. As he proceeded to follow his trade, he progressed as a journeyman welder in seven nuclear power facilities, fourteen ethanol plants, nine coal-fired power plants, six food process facilities, three major refineries, two pharmaceutical facilities, and two major breweries in the U.S in the past 18 years. Eric was also awarded the craftsmanship award at Palo Verde Nuclear plant in Arizona in 2011.
Shane Adams
Vice President/Lead Instructor
Shane is a graduate of Northwestern R-1 in Mendon, MO in 2000 and followed his career path by attending Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, MO where he received his welding certificates in December 2000. He has worked in nuclear facilities, ethanol and biodiesel, and coal-fired plants. He then progressed into sanitary working for KPS in various locations in the US. Shane joined Grand River Welding Institute as an instructor in June 2019
Josh Maxwell
Instructor
Josh is a graduate of Brookfield R-3 in Brookfield, MO, and also graduated from the Brookfield Area Career Center in the summer of 2011. Josh has worked in nuclear facilities, ethanol, biodiesel as well as coal-fired plants. He is also a long-time member of the Local Pipeliners Local Union 798. Josh joined Grand River Welding Institute as an instructor in July 2019.
Hunter Charter
Recruiter
Hunter graduated from Grand River Welding Institute in 2020. Hunter worked on the road for a year with KPS in the sanitary field. Then continued for two more years on the road. Hunter joined Grand River Welding Institute as the recruiter in September 2024
Veronica Linscott
Office Manager
Veronica graduated from Colusa High School in Colusa, California, in 2001. She spent just over a decade advancing through the ranks in the banking industry, ultimately reaching management positions before closing that chapter of her career. Veronica joined Grand River Welding Institute as Office Manager in July 2024.
