GRWI is an innovative learning center for any career minded welding specialist. It is a facility where educated, field experienced instructors pass down knowledge to determined individuals for safer, skill induced trade in the worlds industries by utilizing the much needed skills today.
Welding by definition is fastening two pieces of metal together by softening with heat and applying pressure. GRWI’s goal is to instruct students on how much heat and pressure is applied to numerous and different types of metals used in the field today coordinating along with the American Welding Society(AWS) and specific plant requirements.
Our future in the US industry is growing, and it is our duty to hand down the knowledge to the next generation so we can provide the industries with top skilled welders to maintain safe and secure facilities around the globe along with a promising career for our students and their families.
GRWI is dedicated to forming skilled welding specialists for the fuel and energy industry demands. Our goal is to perfect students on critical welding procedures and to gain an upscale level of pay so they may further themselves in a very promising career.
GRWI’s course description is a 5 -month program consisting of 4 phases, totaling 20 weeks (775 contact hours). Each phase teaches students critical welding procedures from field knowledge and hands-on training.

ERIC L. ADAMS - Founder/Chief Instructor
Eric is a graduate from Northwestern R-1 in Mendon, MO and also graduated from the Brookfield Area Career Center in the summer of 1999. He followed his career path by attending Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, MO where he received his welding certificates in December 1999. As he proceeded to follow his trade, he progressed as a journeyman welder in 7 nuclear power facilities, 14 ethanol plants, 9 coal-fire power plants, 6 food process facilities, 3 major refineries, 2 pharmaceutical facilities and 2 major breweries in the U.S in the past 18 years. Eric was also awarded the craftsmanship award at Palo Verde Nuclear plant in Arizona 2011.
